What have I learned so far about my topic?

-Black gangs are involved in drug trafficking, Hispanic gangsare mostly involved in turf-related violenceand  Asian and white are introduced to more in property crimes.
-The brain stem is in charge of all of the functions our body breathing, circulating blood, and digesting food are all connected to our brain cells and might change the way we think once we become addicted to the substances of drugs. It also links the brain with the spinal cord that runs down the back and is responsible for moving muscles and limbs as well as letting the brain know what’s happening to the body. When drugs enter the brain, it can damage the brain cells and change the way of function.Drugs are chemicals. They work in the brain by tapping the nervous system and communicating with it and it may affect the way to receive, open, and anything that deals with it.
-Peer pressure is the feeling that they are being forced by friends or any one to do something they don't want to do.This may lead to more attitude to the childs personality. At times it changes how they are at home, school or anywhere. They start failing ussually they won't care about anything and blame everything on people surrounding them, including parents.

I chose teen drug abuse and gangs because most teens are in need for attention or at times love so they choose one of this options or both. Both of these can lead to death of an overdose or getting shot. we do our best to prevent this two options for teens so we have programs for them, but there still are more out there that are being forced to. teen drug abuse leads to damaging cells in the brain which it affects on your grades in school. the gang leads to ,depending, changing your attitude becoming more aggressive. both of these can also lead to juvenile or prison.
Gangs influence kids at an early age to become more bigger and stronger.  Another word for this is either clique, street gang, youth gang, sets, or nation. They bring fear and violence to neighborhoods, traffic in drugs, destroy property, and involve youth in crimes and drive out businesses. Gangs pull teens away from school and home into a life of violence.
Teen drugs abuse start with teens wanting to know how it feels, they always say they'll only try it once but find themselves being under pressure and then addiction. Most teens try it because of problems and in order for the problem to go away they use drugs to escape the emotion they have. Drugs while is in your system makes you more lazier, mad, and takes all your energy away. Depending on the drugs some of them are dangerous than they appear: cocaine increases your blood pressure, body temperature and also your heart rate. Pot on the other hand is a short-term effect; difficulty in solving problems, memory impairment and distorted perceptions. But one thing about these drugs it may help but teens abuse of the drugs and become ill and addicted.
